Thanksgiving 2008

This Thanksgiving was really the first one that Cutter could enjoy. He could enjoy it before, but this year he got to experience a "real" Thanksgiving. We went to Belton, to Matt's Aunt and Uncle's house and had our Thanksgiving there. It was outstanding....too much food to handle. Cutter had a great time playing football with his cousin Jacob and his Daddy. Isn't that what Thanksgiving is about? Cutter played and played. Funny story.....on our way to Belton, Cutter wanted to drink grape "Bug Juice" and eat popcorn since we had not eaten breakfast. So, when we got there, Cutter immediately went to play football with his cousin. He was running and running. After a little bit, he went inside with his Paw Paw and got a piece of banana bread. Well, he took a little to big bite and started coughing on it. He spit it out into Paw Paw's hand and was fine.......for a few seconds. It turned out that Cutter did a little too much running around and got a little too hot, because a few seconds after spitting the banana bread out, up came all of Cutter's "Bug Juice" and popcorn. I made a run for the kitchen sink, which was the closest thing, and covered his mouth. As soon as I got to the linoleum flooring, out it all sprayed and went everywhere. PINK was Cutter's color at the moment. It got all over my arms and Cutter's shirt. So, Cutter went shirtless for a little bit until I washed his shirt by hand and stuck it in the dryer. It will be funny in the long run and a funny "Remember when...." story. But all in all, it was a good day and we had fun!
